Native Earth Presents WEESAGEECHAK BEGINS TO DANCE 35
Native Earth Performing Arts has announced the 35th edition of Weesageechak Begins to Dance will return in person and online November 10-20, 2022 at Aki Studio. This year's festival will gather over 15 artists from across Turtle Island to develop and showcase contemporary Indigenous performances plus excerpts from new work in development, musical performances, a mini pop-up market, panels, and more.

Announcing the 2016 San Francisco Olympians Festival
This year the festival will debut 22 new plays by 23 local writers, 9 of whom will be contributing written work to the festival for the first time! The plays range from shorts to one-acts to full-lengths, and each one explores a different underworld legend or god from Greek or Egyptian mythology.

Tony winning Broadway legend Carol Channing will be honored at the LIGHT OF HOPE AWARDS on February 5, 2011 at The Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Palm Springs, California for her outstanding work with The Dr. Carol Channing And Harry Kullijian Foundation For The Arts in advocating for arts education in all public schools across the nation. The 'Night At The Movies' Gala will star Tony Nominated stage, film and television actress Jonelle Allen and the nationally renowned young performing group, The Kids Next Door. Proceeds from the event will benefit Christophers Clubhouse, a non profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering children, parents and communities to keep children safe from predatory crimes.
