Michael Iskander to Play David in Upcoming Prime Biblical Drama

Michael Iskander, who made his Broadway debut in Kimberly Akimbo, will be playing the Biblical role of David in the Prime Video series House of David. In the series, Iskander will be joined by Ali Suliman as King Saul, Ayelet Zurer as his wife Queen Ahinoam, Samuel Lang as Samuel, and Martyn Ford as Goliath.

Oscar winner Marlee Matlin (Quantico), Emmy nominee Kelly Jenrette (The Handmaid's Tale), John Beasley (Shots Fired) and Louis Ferreira (Netflix's Travelers) also have been cast in the series, which is based on a podcast.

Syfy's acclaimed series, Stargate Universe has cast famed actors, Robert Knepper (Heroes, Prison Break) and Julie McNiven (Supernatural, Mad Men) as guest stars to the second season of the hit series. Knepper joins the cast for a six-episode arc and will portray Simeon, a member of the Lucian Alliance. McNiven will also join the cast for a five-episode arc, portraying Ginn, a member of the Lucian Alliance. Season two of Stargate Universe premieres on Syfy fall 2010.
