BIO
Kylie Abucay is a Bay Area native that has been seen in The 1940’s Radio Hour (Connie) and Little Shop of Horrors (Crystal) at Hillbarn Theatre and Grease (Sandy), Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Ensemble), Aida (Ensemble), and Saturday Night Fever (Shirley Charles, Ensemble) at Broadway by the Bay. Training includes musical theatre, vocal, classical and contemporary ballet at Westlake School for the Performing Arts in Daly City. Kylie has been a part of a new work: “Larry The Musical” since its online Workshop 2, after taking a break from performing become a Registered Nurse. Larry credits include: Workshop 2 (Angelina, Yzzy u/s), Workshop 3 (Reyna), and the SF Premiere (Yzzy).

Broadway by the Bay continues their 2019 season with Grease - the beloved rock n' roll celebration of teen angst, fast cars and first loves all set in the fabulous fifties. This all-new production is on stage June 7 to 23 and features the irresistible songs from the Tony Award nominated Broadway show and hit movie, including 'Summer Nights,", "Greased Lightnin'", "Born to Hand Jive", "There are Worse Things I Could Do", and many more. So get out your leather jackets and pull on your bobby socks with Rydell High's senior class of 1959!
