In a spirited dueling of minds that plays off the tropes of romantic comedy, Indian Summer explores what connection is, romantic and otherwise. The play features Spencer Gonzalez, Clara Napolitano, Haythem Noor, and Julian Socha.

The Improvised Broadway Musical, co-created by New York improv veterans Ali Reed and Adrien Pellerin, and co-creator director-choreographer Ilana Ransom Toeplitz, was the premiere workshop-based production at the New Musicals Lab at the Ferguson Center for the Performing Arts at Christopher Newport University.
Emerging Artist Initiative Announces Relief Fund

The Emerging Artist Initiative (EAI), a new collective of young professionals in the arts, announced today the launch of the Emerging Artist Relief Fund. The grassroots initiative hopes to initially raise $15,000 to support 30 young creatives and arts professionals with a one-time relief donation of $500. EAI is currently accepting donations through its Facebook fundraiser.
Christopher Newport University's Ferguson Center For The Arts Presents The World Premiere Of WE AREN'T KIDS ANYMORE

Led by a New York-based creative team helmed by director/choreographer Ilana Ransom Toeplitz, WE AREN'T KIDS ANYMORE, a new song cycle by Drew Gasparini will premiere at Christopher Newport University's Ferguson Center for the Arts for two performances August 17 and 18, 2019 showcasing a cast of CNU musical theatre students. Professor Colin Ruffer, who currently leads the musical theatre program at CNU, serves as music director. The production features music supervision by Justin Goldner, lighting design by Andrew F. Griffin, and is presented in partnership with Erica Rotstein.
