Break out the cheesecake and eggnog Chicago's favorite gals are headed back to Andersonville for the holidays, where it all began! Following an 18-week sell-out run, including six-weeks at Lakeview's Stage 773, Hell in a Handbag Productions' campy world premiere parody THE GOLDEN GIRLS THE LOST EPISODES will return to Mary's Attic (5400 N. Clark St., Chicago) for six additional performances from December 6, 2017 January 10, 2018. Written by David Cerda and directed by Shade Murray, AJ Wright and David Lipschutz, the campy parody of one of TV's most beloved sitcoms will feature the best of the original run plus a new holiday-themed episode! THE GOLDEN GIRLS will run in conjunction with the return of Handbag's holiday favorite RUDOLPH THE RED-HOSED REINDEER. Middle Tennessee State University's Theatre Department teams up with Nashville Shakespeare Festival for the upcoming production of Skakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by NSF artistic associate and MTSU adjunct professor of theatre Santiago Sosa. Midsummer runs November 9-12 at MTSU's Tucker Theatre.

The fifth show in Cortland Repertory Theatre's 41st summer season comes to the Little York Pavilion by way of Canada, with the award-winning comedic drama "The Drawer Boy" written by Michael Healey. First produced in Toronto in 1999, the play has gone on to be produced throughout Canada, the United States and London, winning numerous awards including The Governor's General Award and being listed on Time Magazine's list of "Top Ten New Classics". In the early 2000's, it had the distinction of being the most produced play in U.S. regional theatres; this production will mark CRT's debut performance. The fifth mainstage summer production at Cortland Repertory Theatre will be the theatre's regional debut of the timely, riveting and highly theatrical courtroom drama Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde. From August 5 - 15, playwright Moisés Kaufman's play will be on the CRT stage in the Edward Jones Playhouse at the Little York Pavilion.
