BIO

Kyle West (formerly Kyle C. Greene) has been dancing and singing since he was old enough to choose My Little Ponies over Atari. He grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts with his business-owner parents and older brother, none of whom have ever stepped onstage. By age 12, Kyle was performing with local community theatres, as well as at school. He even appeared in an embarrassing commercial for an amusement park that aired on all major networks from 1996-2002. By age 17, Kyle started choreographing at The Academy of Performing Arts with The World Goes Round and Chicago, receiving praise from Broadway director, Scott Ellis. He was soon promoted to Director and Choreographer for the theatre, where he worked until moving to New York City in 2004. Although Kyle performed in New York, his best experiences were off stage, as he assisted some of Broadway and Off-Broadway’s top producers in promotional marketing, theatre management and technical theatre.

Kyle has directed, produced, choreographed and costumed dozens of shows in venues from Boston, Massachusetts to Phoenix, Arizona. He has won numerous awards for his direction, choreography, costumes and onstage talents.

Most recently, Kyle was on the board of directors of both Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre and Mesa Encore Theatre and worked full-time as manager of Arizona Dance Artistry. He recently married his husband, Jared, and relocated to Dallas, Texas. He directs and choreographs for community, regional and educational theaters across the US. When Kyle is not inside a theatre, he enjoys photography, travel, event planning and his dog, Molly.

BWW Interview: Brooke Singer of CRUEL INTENTIONS: THE 90'S MUSICAL at Dallas' Winspear Opera House

Texas-born Brooke Singer is no stranger to the stage. In fact, she's been performing professionally since before most of her peers had picked their first extra-curricular activity. And now, after years of sailing the world playing famous Disney characters like Belle and performing in the world premiere of the stage version of TANGLED, she's got an opportunity to show off her less family-friendly skills by taking the new stage musical version of the nostalgic 90's film Cruel Intentions on the road.
