Kyle has been dancing and singing since he was old enough to choose My Little Ponies over Atari. He grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts with his business-owner parents and older brother, none of whom have ever stepped onstage. By age 12, Kyle was performing with local community theatres, as well as at school. He even appeared in an embarrassing commercial for an amusement park that aired on all major networks from 1996-2002. By age 17, Kyle started choreographing at The Academy of Performing Arts with The World Goes Round and Chicago, receiving praise from Broadway director, Scott Ellis. He was soon promoted to Director and Choreographer for the theatre, where he worked until moving to New York City in 2004. Although Kyle performed in New York, his best experiences were off stage, as he assisted some of Broadway and Off-Broadway’s top producers in promotional marketing, theatre management and technical theatre.
Kyle has directed, produced, choreographed and costumed more than a dozen shows in venues from Boston, Massachusetts to Phoenix, Arizona. He has won numerous awards for his work, including awards from the Massachusetts State Drama Guild Award and Bourne Actors to MET Awards and ariZoni awards.
Kyle is on the Board of Directors with Phoenix Youth Ballet Theatre and works full-time as manager of Arizona Dance Artistry. He also directs and choreographs for community, regional and education theatres across the country.
