At about half an hour into Michael Dennis' debut play Dark Sublime, the uncomfortable thought occurred to me that there was still two hours left to go. The piece had opened strongly with numerous jokes directed at the arts industry, but already it felt as if it had played its hand. Sadly, my fears were correct, and what followed was an uninteresting exploration of a woman haunted by the past.

Kwaku Mills (End of Eddy, UK Tour; Urban Myths: The Trial of Joan Collins, Sky Atlantic) has been cast in this exciting revival of Arinze Kene's good dog - he will bring to life this true epic, retelling the stories of multiple characters, families and years. Directed by tiata fahodzi's Artistic Director Natalie Ibu, good dog will open at Watford Palace Theatre before touring to venues including Sheffield Theatres, Northern Stage, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Birmingham REP, North Wall Arts Centre and Salisbury Playhouse.
