Based on the hugely successful cult novel and produced by Alchemation (Broadway’s SIX and The Play That Goes Wrong, West End’s Mrs. Doubtfire), this twisting musical presents a comedic and empowering manifesto of Asian feminism.

This show had its Illinois premiere at First Folio, before moving on to extended runs the Greenhouse Theatre Center in Chicago followed by a six-month run Off-Broadway at New World Stages in NYC.

Patrick Ignatius' house is being foreclosed. Although he has not lived there for many years, he returns to Cleveland to find something. Frank and Casey are the movers assigned to empty the house. Patrick appeals to them to let him stay for one more night, to find that particular something he thought was long gone. With the help of a deranged street urchin named Mouse, Patrick pulls apart the house, attempting to find what he seeks, but uncovering ghosts and truths long buried. And it's a comedy.
