Video: Loon Town Take A Trip To Another Realm With Their New Video 'Silver Flowers'
Take a zany trip to another realm with dream pop/ synth-rock band outfit Loon Town’s refreshing new music video, “Silver Flowers.' This fast-tempo song, a single off their recent album “Slow Space”, confounds reality with sparkly visuals reminiscent of Kate Bush and other eye-candy of the 80s, saccharin drip with darkness creeping in at the edges.

BWW Review: Syracuse University's Department of Drama Modernizes INTO THE WOODS
Over the weekend I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods reimagined at the Storch Theatre in the Syracuse Stage Complex. Director David Lowenstein brilliantly brings those fairy tale stories and characters to life as if they were written and created for present times. Lowenstein and his cast of Syracuse University Drama students offer up a refreshing and captivating production that relates back to modern day sociopolitical issues, the celebrities in the news etc. The numerous pop culture references add to the experience, not detract from it.

Amas Musical Theatre to Offer Additional Staged Readings of GOTTA GETTA GIRL and A TASTE OF CHOCOLATE
Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present additional staged readings next month of two musicals in development for upcoming full productions. First up will be Gotta Getta Girl, a 1930's musical romp with book and lyrics by Peter Charles Morris and music by David Caldwell, directed by Phillip George (Forbidden Broadway) with musical direction by Mr. Caldwell. The readings will be held on Monday, November 2 @ 6pm and Tuesday November 3 @ 3pm & 7pm, at The Playroom Theatre (151 West 46thStreet, 8th Floor - between Broadway & 6th Avenue).
