BIO
As a working musician and keyboardist Kris "Halo" Pierce has appeared on America's Got Talent and produced several bands that rank in the top 10 of their genres on ReverbNation. From NYC to SF to Tampa, Pierce always delivers on his promise of modern sounds and production. And he's no stranger to the celebrities either. He's programmed for Jennifer Lopez, held the audio helm for Whoopi Goldberg and Cyndi Lauper, and was on the team nominated for a Grammy for Common's The Corner - to name just a few. He owns Halo Askew Entertainment which is an artist/event management and digital publishing company. www.HaloAskewEnt.com
While in NYC, he was the Production Sound Engineer for the award-winning Off-Broadway musical, Altar Boyz, as well as Sound Designing several Off-Broadway shows including Illyria, Bash'd: A Gay Rap Opera, and Songs For A New World. Most recently he was the Production Sound Engineer for Steve Martin and Edie Brickell's new music, Bright Star, while working as the Assistant Sound Supervisor for New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Season 2013. Since 2007 Halo Askew Entertainment has managed and/or produced many award winning productions in the Fringe and New York Musical Theatre Festivals. From General/Production Manager to Sound Designer to Street Teamer, he brings his experience as a guerilla producer with a “whatever it takes” attitude and a passion for the arts.

Sparta Releases New Track 'Empty Houses,' Announces More Tour Dates
Sparta are returning with a new album Trust The River on April 10 and today the El Paso band featuring Jim Ward shares a new single off the LP, “Empty Houses.' Of the track Ward notes, “Our bass player Matt Miller brought in the completed music and lyrical concept for 'Empty Houses' and I fell in love with it - I worked out the final lyrics and vocals pretty quickly in the studio with David Garza bouncing lines back and forth. The idea centers around the void left by the market crash and what became of the houses left vacant. We wanted to capture some of that anxiety and fear that must have surrounded those times and try to imagine how to cope.” Today's video was directed by Kris Pierce and you can watch it below.

A perfect show for the whole family, The Enlightenment of Mr. Mole, an adaptation of The Wind in the Willows, written and directed by Tony-award winner B.H. Barry, beginning December 28 and running through December 31, 2017 will play in the Black Box Theater at The Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street, NYC 10012).
