Going on a new adaptation by John Donnelly, which transplants the action to modern-day London, and a delicious set by Robert Jones - so decadent it chews the actors - this new, politically charged production is disiquientingly relevant.
It is also wickedly funny.

Photo Flash: In Rehearsal with Denis O'Hare and the Cast of TARTUFFE
A ferocious new version of Moliere's comic masterpiece, Tartuffe, by John Donnelly, directed by Blanche McIntyre will open in February in the Lyttelton Theatre. Denis O'Hare makes his NT debut as Tartuffe, and is joined by Kevin Doyle as Orgon and Olivia Williams as Elmire.

English Touring Theatre Announces Full Cast For Othello
English Touring Theatre today announces the full cast for the upcoming revival of Richard Twyman's critically acclaimed production of Othello, a co-production with Oxford Playhouse and Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory. Richard Twyman directs Kitty Archer (Desdemona), Philip Correia (Cassio), Naby Dakhli (Montano), James Ellis (Duke), James Godden (Soldier/Senator), Paul McEwan (Iago) Victor Oshin (Othello) and Kelly Price (Emilia) joining returning cast members Chris Bianchi (Brabantio), Hayat Kamille (Bianca), Brian Lonsdale (Roderigo) and John Sandeman (Lodovico).
Royal Court Theatre Announces Cast For ONE FOR SORROW
Kitty Archer, Pearl Chanda, Neil Dudgeon, Irfan Shamji and Sarah Woodward have been cast in the world premiere of One For Sorrow, by Cordelia Lynn. It is directed by James Macdonald. The production runs Wednesday 20 June 2018 - Saturday 11 August 2018 with press performances at 7pm Tuesday 26 June 2018 and 7.45pm Wednesday 27 June 2018. The reviews are embargoed until 11.59pm Wednesday 27 June 2018.
