Portland Center Stage’s annual JAW New Play Festival returns July 28-30, 2023. JAW is PCS’s week-long assembling of artists and audiences to create new plays. Each July, artistic teams, including playwrights, directors, and actors, come together to rehearse — and a lot of times rewrite! — a new play.

Broadway Rose Theatre Company will continue its 2022 Season of Live Musicals with You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, based on the comic strip 'Peanuts' by Charles M. Schulz. Preview performance is Thursday, July 7, with opening night on Friday, July 8, and performances continuing through July 31.

From Mel Brooks and the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation The Producers comes the new monster musical comedy Young Frankenstein, opening September 12 at Lakewood Theatre Company. Performances continue through October 19, 2014. Young Frankenstein features story by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan and music and lyrics by Brooks.
