Kimberly Suskind has been performing since before she could walk. She was singing at 18 months old and began taking dance classes at the tender age of three. Kimberly was cast in her first musical theater production when she was just six years old. This began her love for musical theater.
She started acting in film, voice-overs, and commercials shortly after. She has gone on to perform consistently in professional theater productions and can be seen and heard in multiple films (working with some notable names such as Henry Winkler, Swoosie Kurtz, Katharine Hepburn, and Patricia Richardson), television commercials and voice-overs. After being accepted to the prestigious Boston Conservatory for musical theater, Kimberly began to really develop herself through training as the triple threat performer she is today.
Kimberly's love of tap led her to study with some notable names in the tap world such as Dianne Walker, Lane Alexander, Sam Weber & Tim Hickey. During college, she also had the pleasure of studying rhythm tap with Aaron Tolson, which soon became her favorite style of tap to teach and perform. Kimberly has always had the passion to teach others and was a tap tutor for her peers throughout her four years at The Boston Conservatory. As a result of this, she was awarded the prestigious Sue Ronson Levy tap scholarship toward her BFA in musical theater. While at The Boston Conservatory, she was a member and soloist of the Hoofers Tap Ensemble, which performed all over the greater Boston area.
Kimberly received her vocal training by Bill Cotten & Bill Casey (Boston Conservatory), and is currently studying with the exceptional Steven Schnurman to further cultivate her voice (www.VoiceLessonsNJ.com). Kimberly has studied many different acting techniques while attending The Boston Conservatory, and has used these techniques to perfect and delve deep into characters she is asked to portray. Kimberly is currently working in the theater world and continues her pursuits in New York as well as perform locally and regionally.
