BIO

KIMBERLY LARKIN is a faculty member of the Theatre & Music Departments at Long Island High School for the Arts. She holds a MA in Vocal Performance: Concentration in Musical Theatre from NYU and a BA in Music Education from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, where she studied both voice and piano. Ms. Larkin directs a music program she created at St. Andrew Avellino School in Flushing, Queens. For the past 20 summers she has directed the CPSM Musical Theatre Summer Workshop at Queens College, a program she also created. Ms. Larkin's voice students have won numerous competitions, performed lead roles in many local, regional, Broadway and Off-Broadway productions and have also been accepted to the top high school and college programs in musical theater. She studied voice with renowned Broadway actress/singer, Judith Blazer, and is a board member of Ms. Blazer's theater company, The Artist's Crossing.

Her recent NYC theatre credits include: Christine in Mile Marker 117 (2018 Strawberry One Act Festival Semi-Finalist), featured soloist in AEA Showcase of Christmas Rappings (2009, 2015 and 2019), Wendy in G-69 (2016 Strawberry One Act Festival Finalist), Archon in Float (2015 Dream Up Festival), Miss Bunny in Molly Bloom-Lately (New York Children's Theatre Festival) and Claire Simmonds in Bare: A Pop Opera at The York Theatre. She performed as Sarah Lincoln in the off-Broadway musical Honestly Abe at the Actor's Temple Theatre in NYC for over two years.

Christmas Rappings is back in a very special 50th Anniversary concert production of this beloved Greenwich Village tradition-a Christmas oratorio unlike any other. When Al Carmines introduced audiences to Rappings on December 14, 1969, they had come to expect the surprising range and inventiveness of this multiple Obie-award winner, but perhaps not an evening that faithfully tells the Christmas story through such a high-spirited, often funny, collision of musical genres, from country to classical to blues to gospel, and even with a rousing tango.

Cast Announced For Seth Bisen-Hersh's Epic 500th Showcase All-Day Extravaganza

On April 28th, 2018, Seth Bisen-Hersh will present an all-day, wall-to-wall concert of his songs at the renowned cabaret club, Don't Tell Mama, to celebrate the milestone of his 500th showcase. The four-part concert (1PM, 3:30PM, 6PM & 8:30PM) will consist of 100 of Seth Bisen-Hersh's songs, including 3 world premieres, featuring over 70 performers and cast reunions from every musical that Seth has produced in NYC.

Artist's Crossing Presents Equality Fundraiser, ALL THINGS EQUAL, 5/3

"On May 3rd, we will present a piece in which the goal is to help raise awareness on the topic of equality for all people" says Judith Blazer, founder. A host of Broadway artists will join the evening to support the innovative theatre company and school, The Artist's Crossing.
