The Herberger Theater Center Announces Free Public Reception After Opening of OBSERVANCE
The Herberger Theater Center (HTC), located at 222 E. Monroe in downtown Phoenix, invites the public to the free opening reception for Organic Observance, a guest curator exhibit featuring Kim Walker, on First Friday, February 1, 5:30-7:00pm. Meet the artist; enjoy music and no-host bar in Bob's Spot Lounge.

International Songwriting Competition Announces Judges for 2018 Competition
The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is pleased to announce its panel of judges for the 2018 competition. Established in 2002, ISC is the world's largest songwriting competition and is open to both professional and amateur songwriters, signed and unsigned. A total of 71 winners in 23 categories share in over $150,000 in cash and prizes, including an overall Grand Prize consisting of $25,000 (US) cash, and much more.

The production of 'A Christmas Carol' is sponsored by McDonalds and Country Inn and Suites and Alamo Cinema Drafthouse. The holiday extravaganza will run through December 24. This year's cast will be highlighted by Wayside audience favorite Eddie Staver III, as everyone's favorite Christmas curmudgeon, Ebenezer Scrooge. Mr. Staver will share the role with another audience favorite actor and Winchester local, James Laster, most recently seen in The Gin Game and Miracle on 34th Street.
