Kentucky Performing Arts Names New Vice President Of Education And Community
Kentucky Performing Arts (KPA) has announced that Nick Covault has been promoted to Vice President of Education and Community. Covault has served as executive director of the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts (GSA) since 2016 and has been with Kentucky Performing Arts, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), since 2010.
Kentucky Center Hosts OUR KENTUCKY HOME Exhibit
The Kentucky Center has been selected as one of several venues across Kentucky to host the Kentucky Arts Council's traveling exhibit Our Kentucky Home: Hispanic/Latin American Visual Art in the Commonwealth. The exhibit will run from January 9 to February 5, 2023.
Kentucky Performing Arts To Require Proof Of Vaccination Or Negative COVID Test Result
Kentucky Performing Arts, with support from Kentucky Opera, Louisville Ballet, Louisville Orchestra, PNC Broadway in Louisville, and StageOne Family Theatre, has announced that guests attending indoor performances at The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, the Brown Theatre, and Old Forester's Paristown Hall will be required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.

Two months after COVID-19 shutdowns closed theatre doors, Kentucky Performing Arts (KPA) continues to bring arts experiences into patrons' homes with its weekly, virtual concert series. The Kentucky Center to Close for 30 Days
In an abundance of caution and in setting the example for social distancing in managing COVID-19, the decision has been made to temporarily close The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts for a period of 30 days, March 14-April 12, 2020.
