BIO

Having grown up in NYC, Khalid Rivera was allowed to experience different cultures, meet incredible and diverse people, and jump into show business. He began his career on Broadway in, The Capeman, produced by Paul Simon, and Juan Darien, and directed by Julie Taymor. He performed at Carnegie Hall, sang the National Anthem in Madison Square Garden, and was part of The Broadway Kids group. He is truly grateful for his early successes and for a Mother who supported his dreams.

Next, he jumped into the music scene. Incredibly, his first two singles, Every Nite and Salvation, played in clubs and on radio stations worldwide. Salvation made it to #1 and Every Nite stayed at #1 for 3 weeks on LOGO TV! After a successful record deal, he decided to self-release Who Do U Love. It charted in the top 20 on charts worldwide and made it to the top 10 finals in the USA Songwriting Competition, for best Dance/Electronica song! Exclusive remixes were done by DJ Gustavo Scorpio, Klubjumpers, DJ Greek, and the late Aaron Carl.

Following this success, Music Plant Group signed him and released Enough Is Enough. It topped the charts and was nominated for Best Dance Artist in the In- die Music Channel Awards.

Although his music career was an amazing adventure, he missed acting and decided to pursue it again. Since leaping back into acting, he’s booked roles on well-known shows such as Russian Doll, Pose, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Broad City, as well as lead and supporting roles in film and theatre. His greatest goal is to be part of thought-provoking work that is inspiring and of course, to make people laugh!
