Cast Announced For The World Premiere Of GREAT APES

Casting has been announced for the World Premiere of Great Apes from the novel by Will Self; reimagined for the stage by Patrick Marmion. Great Apes is a new play by Patrick Marmion directed by RSC and Donmar actor Oscar Pearce (Wolf Hall, Real Thing), based on the novel by Will Self opening at the Arcola Theatre on Monday 19th March.

Gypsy opened in the West End last night, Tuesday 15 April 2015 at the Savoy Theatre, London. Directed by Jonathan Kent with book by Arthur Laurents, Gypsy has music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim suggested by the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, choreography by Stephen Mear, designs by Anthony Ward, musical direction and orchestration by Nicholas Skilbeck, lighting by Mark Henderson and sound by Paul Groothuis.

Confirming earlier reports that Chichester Festival Theatre's GYPSY, starring Imelda Staunton as 'Mama Rose', would debut in the West End this spring, the Daily Mail writes that the musical will officially bow on March 30 and run through November 28, 2015 at the Savoy Theatre. This will be the first time GYPSY has appeared in London in 40 years.
