Marking the 150th anniversary of 'the biggest hoax in history,' IndieWorks Theatre Company, Inc., in association with Visceral Entertainment, presents The Giant Hoax a new musical based upon the true(?) story of New York's famous Cardiff Giant, with book, music and lyrics by Kit Goldstein Grant, choreography by Molly Model, music direction by Jonathon Lynch and orchestrations by Mark Brymer. Christopher Michaels directs a cast of 13, including Paul Aguirre*, Mary Albert, Henry Fin Berry, Greg Carter*, Sarah Chiu, Yvette Monique Clark*, Jianzi Colón-Soto, Daniel Moser*, Robyne Parrish*, Kevin Riddagh, Staci Stout, Ben Tostado*, and Forest VanDyke*. Sixteen performances will be staged on a varying scheduling at Theatre Row's Theatre One (formerly The Lion Theatre) 410 West 42nd Street in New York City from November 19-December 7, 2019. The Giant Hoax is recommended for ages six and up.
Rush Tickets Announced for THE GIANT HOAX

With performances beginning tonight on Theatre Row, IndieWorks Theatre Company, Inc., and Visceral Entertainment are pleased to announce that $18.69 rush tickets are available for each performance of The Giant Hoax, a new musical based upon the true(?) story of New York's famous Cardiff Giant. In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Cardiff Giant's discovery, rush tickets are available at the door one hour prior to each performance with a maximum of two tickets per person, subject to availability.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, Brian Charles Rooney joins the new musical Reverend Jackson Regrets on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 9:30pm. Brian Charles Rooney, critically acclaimed for his performances in Roundabout's Broadway production of The Three-Penny Opera smash off-Broadway hit Bedbugs and winner of the New York Music Festival award for outstanding actor for his portrayal of Lee/Miss Blanche in Miss Blanche Tells It All, will play Reverend Vernon Jackson (Just like the 7 Train subway stop) in the pre Off- Broadway concert presentation of Reverend Jackson Regrets, an exciting evening featuring the songs of this 2017 Midtown Musical Theatre Festival Best Production winner. The goal: raise money to turn as many homosexuals straight as possible by the Rapture or the 2014 Winter Olympics. Whichever comes first. But now, a decade later, he has seen the error of his ways and wants to apologize.

Songs for the Hidden, a benefit concert by Sonder Productions, will be taking place at New York City's Symphony Space today, January 25th, at 8:00pm. Every penny from this wonderful event will go directly to Mount Sinai Hospital's Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Program (SAVI) and Got Your 6. These are two incredible organizations that help people who sometimes don't feel seen, or feel shadowed by societal stigma, regain the health and confidence they need to go out into the world and be their full selves. Remy Zaken Joins Tim Realbuto's Concert

Award-winning New York based writer and performer Tim Realbuto, who will star in the upcoming motion picture YES (based on his stage play of the same name), will bring his popular 'Because I Can' concert series to an end at the Triad Theatre on Friday, February 9th, 2018 at 7:00 PM. He premiered his first 'Because I Can' concert at The Metropolitan Room last April and performed part two earlier this month at The Triad. The Metropolitan Room has been the producer of all three 'Because I Can' shows, but the second incarnation and now the third and final one will be performed at The Triad as The Metropolitan Room is in the middle of moving locations.
