The City of Cleveland Heights announces the regional premiere of ROCK OF AGES will be produced in the Alma Theater June 8-25 as part of Cain Park?s 2017 season. Newly appointed Cain Park Theater Artistic Director Joanna May Hunkins will direct, with music direction by Jordan Cooper. ROCK OF AGES is a Tony-nominated Broadway musical that features a book by Chris D'Arienzo, arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp and the classic rock hits of bands including Bon Jovi, Styx, Journey, Whitesnake, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, and others.

In a first-of-its-kind production for one of Cleveland's most innovative dance companies, the Dancing Wheels Company will join forces with Elec Simon, world percussionist from the famous Off-Broadway show STOMP, to present "Rhythm & Wheels: Around the World." Starting at 8:00 p.m. on April 25, 2015, the magnificent stage at the Masonic Auditorium will ignite with fiery musicians including the Dancing Wheels Company members, who will join in on the rhythms created by this masterful drummer.

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) will present itsfourteenth annual All-City Musical, AIDA to crown the District's 2012-13 series of All-City Arts Programming. The production features the talents of over fifty CMSD students from across the District and will take place on the stage of the Ohio Theatre at PlayhouseSquare,May 31 - June 2, 2013. Tony Sias, Director of Arts Education for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, co-directs the production with Kimberly Brown. Aida, which features music by Elton John and lyrics by Tim Rice, is based on the book by Linda Woolverton, Robert Falls and David Henry Hwang. It was originally directed on Broadway by Robert Falls and originally produced by Disney Theatrical Productions. The CMSD All-City Musical production is produced through special arrangement with Music Theater International (www.mtishows.com).

The production features the talents of over fifty CMSD students from across the District and takes place on the stage of the Ohio Theatre at PlayhouseSquare, tonight, June 1 through June 3, 2012. Tony Sias, Director of Arts Education for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, co-directs the production with Kimberly Brown. Based on the original screenplay by Dean Pitchford, Footloose was adapted for the stage by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie. The show's music was written by Tom Snow with lyrics by Dean Pitchford. Additional music for Footloose was written by Eric Carmen, Sammy Hagar, Kenny Loggins and Jim Steinman.
