Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's 43rd Season Presents Work from Choreographer Jonathan Fredrickson
Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC) continues its 2020/21 43rd season with a virtual premiere presentation of new work from former Hubbard Street dancer and acclaimed choreographer Jonathan Fredrickson, debuting on Thursday, December 3 at www.hubbardstreetdance.com. The film will be streamed again Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6, and has been made free to the public.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Artistic Director Glenn Edgerton, and its Youth, Education and Community Programs department, under the leadership of Kathryn Humphreys, are pleased to offer a Professional Development Institute comprised of twelve diverse events throughout the 2015-16 academic year, designed for studio and classroom educators, teaching artists, undergraduate and graduate students.

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Artistic Director Glenn Edgerton announce three artists joining the organization's 18-member performing company: Emilie Leriche, Andrew Murdock and Bryna Pascoe. “Each is highly accomplished in both classical and contemporary dance,” says Edgerton, “and uniquely suited for Hubbard Street's active repertoire of works by major international choreographers.” All are scheduled to perform during the company's Fall Series, opening Season 36 with new works by Robyn Mineko Williams and Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo, plus repertoire by Mats Ek and Ohad Naharin, October 10–13, 2013 at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance.

Continuing its commitments to nurturing artists and advancing contemporary dance, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago announces its 12th annual Inside/Out Choreographic Workshop at the UIC Theatre, 1044 West Harrison Street in Chicago. Twelve short works premiere during two performances today, July 6, 2013, beginning at 5 pm and 8 pm.
