BIO

Bass-baritone, Kevin Grace has been receiving critical acclaim for his portrayal of roles in opera, musical theater and oratorio throughout the United States. Grace is described as: “handsomely voiced” (The New York Times), “Magical” (The Times Herald Record), “very talented” (www.njartsmaven.com), and “hilariously off the charts” (Broadwayworld.com).

Grace has appeared in numerous major venues including: David H. Koch Theater, Carnegie Hall, Cathedral of St. John The Divine, New York City Center Encores!,, Avery Fisher Hall, The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Annenberg Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

He has performed in many Regional and Metropolitan area companies including: New York City Opera, New York Grand Opera, New York City Center Encores, Capital Repertory Theater, Roanoke Opera, Alamo City Opera, St. Petersburg Opera, The Salvatones, Boheme Opera, Bronx Opera, New Rochelle Opera, New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera, Light Opera of New Jersey, Hudson Opera, Caramoor International Festival, The Belleayre Music festival, Westfield Symphony, The Philadelphia Chamber Soloists, Vox Ama Deus Consort, The Canterbury Chorale, Connecticut Master Chorale, Ars Musica Chorale, Middletown City Chorale, The Stonewall Chorale, and Trenton Choral Society,

Grace conducts the St. Leo’s Catholic Church choir in Elmwood Park, NJ. His responsibilities include: direction of adult choir, youth choir, and leader of song for mass.

Grace earned a B. M. in Music Education (K-12) from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. He earned his M.M. in vocal performance from the Mannes School of Music/The New School in New York City. Grace maintains an active private voice studio in Northern New Jersey and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and the American Guild of Musical Artists.

New Rochelle Opera Presents LA BOHEME

New Rochelle Opera, Westchester's longest running opera company, will present Giacomo Puccini's La Boheme, from June 21-24, 2018 in the Frank J. Auriana Theatre at the Ursuline School, 1345 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY. The production will be directed by Company co-founder and artistic director Camille Coppola, with orchestra and chorus conducted by Brian Holman, set design by Anthony Valbiro and lighting design by Adam Welsh. The opera will be sung in Italian, with English supertitles.
