Theatre L'Acadie will present its 4th theatrical season with Elizabeth Egloff's psycho-sexual fever dream, The Swan, directed by TL Co-Artistic Director Erin Sheets, running from July 12, 2024 at Facility Theatre.

The Impostors Theatre Company (ITC) concludes their fourth season with Footholds Vol. 4, an annual anthology play written by the Chicagoland community and directed by ITC Executive Director Rachel Borgo along with Courtney Marie, Caitlin McManus, and ITC Ensemble Member Anna Roemer. Underscore Theatre Company Presents its 6th Annual CHICAGO MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL
Underscore Theatre Company will present its 6th annual CHICAGO MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL, created to showcase and support the growing field of musical theatre creators from Chicago and beyond. The 2020 Festival features full productions of eight new musicals, plus two pay-what-you-can staged readings and a showcase of 10-minute musicals. The Festival will be performed simultaneously on two stages from February 3 - 23, 2020 at The Edge Theater: the Broadway (5451 N. Broadway) and the Off Broadway (1133 W. Catalpa Ave.) in Chicago Edgewater neighborhood. Each full production will receive at least five performances during the Festival. Tickets are currently available at www.cmtf.org. The press 'Sneak Preview,' featuring a sampling of songs from the 2020 Festival, is Monday, February 3 at 8 pm.
WHITE DESERT Makes its Chicago Premiere
First Flight presents the Chicago premiere of the play White Desert by Maxwell Anderson at two Chicago area locations; Fridays, July 26 & August 2 at 7pm at the American Indian Center, 3401 W. Ainslie St. and on Saturdays and Sundays, July 27, 28, August 3 & 4 at 7pm at the Unity Lutheran Church, 1212 W. Balmoral Ave. Admission is $15.
THE MASQUE OF QUEENS By Maxwell Anderson Has Its Chicago Premiere
First Flight presents the Chicago premiere of a play by Maxwell Anderson: The Masque of Queens. Presented as a staged reading and featuring 13 actors, The Masque of Queens' one-time performance is a benefit for Chicago's Season of Concern, an organization that helps Chicago theatre professionals in times of need. The benefit performance date is Sunday March 31, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the iO Theater, 1501 N Kingsbury St, in Chicago. Suggested donation is $20 and tickets are available at the door. SEA-WIFE Performance Held in Support of Season of Concern
First Flight presents a NEW play by Maxwell Anderson: Sea-Wife. Presented as a staged reading featuring 17 actors, Sea-Wife's one-time performance is a benefit for Chicago's Season of Concern, an organization that helps Chicago theatre professionals in times of need. Written by Anderson in 1924 Sea-Wife was never published and it has never been professionally performed. Set in the 1800s on an island off the coast of Maine and based on the poem The Forsaken Merman by Matthew Arnold (1822 - 1888), the play depicts 24 hours of turmoil for the inhabitants of an insulated fishing community and the myth of mermen many of them believe in. The benefit performance date is Sunday December 16, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the iO Theater, 1501 N Kingsbury St, in Chicago. Suggested donation is $20 and tickets are available at the door.
