The Casting Society of America Announces 37th Artios Awards Nominations
Since Broadway had been dark throughout the nomination process, the society would instead honor virtual theatre productions that happened throughout the year, naming it the Virtual Theatre Award. Other nominees include Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, Girls5Eva, Ted Lasso, Bridgerton, Wandavision, Shrill, This Is Us, The Queen's Gambit, and more.
HARRIET, FROZEN 2, & More Among Film Nominees for 35th Artios Awards
Casting Society of America (CSA) today announces the film nominees for the 35th Artios Awards, which honor the contribution of Casting Directors to film, television and theatre. The winners will be revealed on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in ceremonies in Los Angeles, New York City and London. Ron Funches will serve as host for the Los Angeles event, with Michelle Buteau hosting the New York ceremony.

Film Independent, the nonprofit arts organization that produces the Film Independent Spirit Awards, the LA Film Festival and Film Independent at LACMA, announced nominations for the 2016 Spirit Awards this morning. Film Independent President Josh Welsh presided over the press conference held at W Hollywood, with actors John Boyega and Elizabeth Olsen presenting the nominations. Nominees for Best Feature included Anomalisa, Beasts of No Nation, Carol, Spotlight and Tangerine.

All winners for film, television, theater and new media categories will be announced at the 30th Annual Artios Awards on January 22, 2015 with award ceremonies to be held simultaneously at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. PDT) and at 42WEST (formerly XL Nightclub), Cabaret & Lounge (514 West 42nd Street) in New York (reception will commence at 6:00 p.m. EDT).
Industry Veterans Join THE KENNEDY DETAIL Feature Film
Award-winning film and television filmmakers have joined THE KENNEDY DETAIL, the feature film based on the New York Times best-selling book of the same name by former Secret Service Agent Gerald Blaine and award-winning journalist Lisa McCubbin.
