The Audio Publishers Association has announced finalists for the 2023 Audie Awards®, the premier awards program recognizing distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment. Winners across 26 competitive categories will be revealed at the Audie Awards Gala on March 28. The ceremony will be streamed to the public from Chelsea Piers’ Pier Sixty in NYC.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Street Theatre Company opens its 2013 season with two special performances of Love Letters. Love Letters by A. R. Gurney was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The play is a unique and imaginative theatre piece that is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. Evocative, touching, frequently funny, as the actors read the letters aloud, they chronicle over nearly 50 years of hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats that have passed between them throughout their separated lives.

Camping With Henry and Tom-directed by Lynda Gibbs-focuses on a 1921 camping trip that Henry Ford, Thomas Edison and President Warren G. Harding took into the Maryland woods to escape civilization. Inspired by that actual event, Camping with Henry and Tom is an exploration of friendship, politics and leadership; a comedic and dramatic clash of three great historical figures, and what might have happened when they ventured off into the woods together.

Street Theatre Company presents its original production of classic O. Henry stories, written and adapted for the stage by Nashville playwright Scott Hutcheson (of the recently produced Alice in Wonderland, a Musical), and presented for a holiday season run December 10-18. This cast features 20 area teenagers and eight children, as well as Judy and Ken Jackson, two of Nashville's favorite adult actors.

The show plays its final performance on March 14.

Street Theatre Company, a non-profit arts organization dedicated to professional, affordable and accessible theatrical performances in Middle Tennessee, announces that it will present the unique combination of Tuesdays with Morrie and Parallel Lives at Art Space Nashville in Madison, TN, June 18 - July 19, 2009. Parallel Lives will show Thursdays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Tuesdays with Morrie will show Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.. Tickets are $14/adults and $12 for students & seniors.
