Terry Martin, Producing Artistic Director for WaterTower Theatre, today announced details of a new community event called THE COMMUNITY CAST PARTY. The party will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at WaterTower Theatre from 7 pm to midnight. THE COMMUNITY CAST PARTY is designed to attract a wide audience of patrons who are interested in supporting WaterTower Theatre while enjoying an evening of dancing and entertainment with cuisine offered from many fine local restaurants . Attendees will have a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with many artists from the DFW acting community at the 'open house' style event, and everyone is welcome.

WaterTower Theatre Reveals Key Leadership Appointments
Terry Martin, WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director and Derek Blount, President of the Board of Directors, today announced key leadership appointments to a number of important committees: Chairing the annual Spotlight Gala 2015 will be April Bosworth; Co-Chairing a new community fundraising initiative in the fall called The Community Cast Party is April Bosworth, Stan Graner and Debbie Staggs; Co-Chairing another new program called The President's Circle will be Barbara Daseke and Stan Graner, and Co-Chairing The Corporate Council (with Derek Blount) will be Jeff Laceky.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the cast for regional premiere of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer running January 24 - February 16, 2014 on the Main Stage at the Addison Theatre Centre. The cast features Andrews Cope (Tom Sawyer), Tabitha Ray (Becky Thatcher), Garret Storms (Huckleberry Finn/Ensemble), Jake Buchanan (Joe Harper/Ensemble), Jeff Wittekiend (Sid Sawyer/Ensemble), Van Quattro (Injun Joe/Ensemble), Nancy Sherrard (Aunt Polly/Widow Douglas) and Tom Lenaghen (Muff Potter/Ensemble).
WaterTower Theatre Announces New Education Program THE TOM SAWYER PROJECT
WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced a new education program called THE TOM SAWYER PROJECT. The program is designed to involve Dallas County High School Students in their own production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer which WaterTower Theatre is producing January 24 - Feb., 16, 2014. High School students from DISD Schools will be able to audition for all the roles in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and, under the direction of Kelsey Ervi, will produce their own production of the play. The students will be able to attend the rehearsals of the play by the Company's professional actors. The professional actors and creative team will provide mentorship for the student actors. There are 8 roles to be filled and one technical position. Students must be between the ages of 14 - 18 years old.
WaterTower Theatre’s Out of the Loop Fringe Festival to be Streamed Live, 3/1-11
WaterTower Theatre's Producing Artistic Director and Out of the Loop Fringe Festival Producer Terry Martin today announced that for the first time in the Festival's history many of the performances will be streamed live on WTT's Ustream channel. In addition to the live streaming of shows, the channel will also feature backstage interviews with several artists.
