Iconic scientist DR. ANTHONY FAUCI will receive the My Hero Award for decades of substantial contributions to HIV/AIDS research and other immunodeficiencies, both as a scientist and as the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Television star and activist DANIEL (DANNY) PINTAURO will be presented the Courage Award by his 'who's the Boss' co-star Tony Danza for his efforts to reduce stigma and discrimination.

School of American Ballet's 2014 Winter Ball Raises Over $1.2 Million

The School of American Ballet's 2014 Winter Ball, in celebration of SAB's 80th Anniversary, took place at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater on Monday, March 3, 2014 and raised more than $1.2 million for scholarships and school programs. Sponsored by legendary French jewelry Maison, Van Cleef & Arpels for the seventh consecutive year, the evening began with cocktails at 7pm and dinner at 8pm, followed by a student performance choreographed specially for the occasion, and The Encore dessert and dancing, sponsored by fifth-generation luxury house, J. Mendel. The proceeds from this event enable SAB to distribute $1.9 million annually in student scholarships as well as support the School's renowned faculty and state-of-the-art facilities at Lincoln Center.

Hallmark Channel's KITTEN BOWL Draws 3.2 Million Viewers

Hallmark Channel, the Heart of TV, scored with the debut of its newest annual tradition, Kitten Bowl, which drew 3.2 million unduplicated viewers during its Sunday February 2, 12-3pm premiere. In addition, the premiere and its 3 encores reached a total of 6.1 million viewers (P2+). The program, part of the network's advocacy campaign Hallmark Channel's Pet Project, outperformed the corresponding time period average from one year ago across key demographics including 41% among households; 39% among adults 25-54; and 14% among women 25-54.
