BWW Review: Studio Theatre's KINGS A Thrilling Earful of Political Intrigue
With their first audio effort, Kings, Studio demonstrates the versatility of Studio’s roster of actors and sound designers. Director Marti Lyons, already a Helen Hayes award winner, establishes her chops in a purely audio medium, and demonstrates the theatre community’s ability to turn on a dime and produce a classic form of entertainment as if they were to the manner born. Stuff like this is truly heartening.
BWW Review: KINGS at Studio Theatre Rules
Some people go to the theater to find a place to escape from the world around them. If you are one of those people, Studio Theatre's production of Kings wont be your cup of tea. This production is often an uncomfortably real exploration of politics, lobbyists and daily life in the heart of our nation. It takes a moment for the plot to get moving, but once it has left the station, Kings proved to be a thoroughly enjoyable ride.

Photo Flash: First Look at AJ Shively, Kate Abbruzzese & More in Center Stage's PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
Jane Austen's mastery of manners and morals will be on full display in Center Stage's new production of her beloved masterpiece, Pride and Prejudice. In the Bennet sisters' 19th-century English world, marriage is the prize, but for second-eldest, Lizzy, companionship trumps blind courtship. Enter Mr. Darcy, and one of literature's most iconic and tempestuous romances takes flight. Journey through a world quite unlike-and yet perhaps not so different from-our own, as Lizzy and Darcy learn that first impressions aren't all they seem, and that second chances can lead to answers that have been there the entire time. Take a look at the production below!
