The Actors Fund has announced the introduction of 'Broadway's Ziggy Bear,' a new tradition for the children of Broadway. Created for The Actors Fund by philanthropist and producer, Kelly Gonda, Ziggy Bear will celebrate, for the first time ever, the children in Broadway shows and their contribution to the American Theatre.

Broadway Kids Care announced that actress Kaci Walfall of The Lion King on Broadway, and Graham Montgomery currently performing in Kinky Boots on Broadway, will assist actress and UNICEF National Board Member, Tea Leoni, with the lighting of the UNICEF Snowflake on Monday, November 17 at the 2014 UNICEF Snowflake lighting ceremony located at the storefront of Bergdorf Goodman.

Alex Ko Shares Memoir 'FROM IOWA TO BROADWAY' with Rosie's Theater Kids
Since 2007, Alex Ko, who performed in the title role of Billy in Billy Elliot the Musical on Broadway, has been involved in various charities. His most recent work has been serving as the spokesperson for Broadway Kids Care, founded by Lou and Kelly Gonda. Broadway Kids Care is an organization to bring together children from current and past Broadway shows while allowing them the opportunity to perform community service. After leaving the title role in Billy Elliot, Alex began to write his inspirational story and has just released his book, Alex Ko: From Iowa to Broadway, My Billy Elliot Story through HarperCollins.
