The Ovation Foundation Announces Recipients Of Its 2017 Creative Economy innOVATION Grant Awards Program
The Ovation Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Ovation TV, has recognized the work of five non-profit arts organizations with $125,000 in awards as part of its 2017 Creative Economy innOVATION Grant Awards Program. In its fourth grant cycle, the program focused on identifying model nonprofit arts organizations that cultivate and support artists and enterprises in the creative industries through capacity-building, accelerating partnerships, and/or fiscal support. Five grants of $25,000 each were awarded to the following nonprofit organizations:

The Actors Fund Announces New Partnership with First Foundation
The Actors Fund, the national human services agency that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition, announced today that it has received a 'Supporting Our Communities' grant from First Foundation, Inc. which includes both a cash grant of $5,000 and pro bono consulting to help The Fund's Western Council build its fundraising capacity. In addition, First Foundation, Inc. has generously sponsored three years of EVERFI's digital financial literacy training for members of The Actors Fund's Looking Ahead program, which provides programming tailored to meet the special needs of young professional performers aged 9 to 18 in Southern California. First Foundation Inc. (NASDAQ: FFWM) is a financial services company with two wholly-owned operating subsidiaries, First Foundation Advisors and First Foundation Bank. Its 'Supporting Our Communities' is a philanthropic initiative that helps facilitate the growth and impact of local charitable organizations.

The stars were shining in Hollywood for the 2016 Looking Ahead Awards on Tuesday night at the beautiful Taglyan Complex, where over 300 guests enjoyed exciting "blue carpet" arrivals, fabulous cocktail hour, fun photo booth, delicious gourmet dinner and a meaningful celebrity-studded awards ceremony. The event raised over $50,000 in support of The Actors Fund's Looking Ahead program.

Produced and written by David Rambo and directed by Luke Yankee, the event featured the only approved live TONY Award feed direct from New York to California, allowing guests of the Actors Fund to view the awards before the rest of West Coast viewed the delayed broadcast.
