Rubell Museum DC Announces Inaugural Exhibition
The Rubell Museum announced the inaugural exhibition, What's Going On, for its new museum opening in Washington, DC on October 29, 2022. Dedicated exclusively to contemporary art, the Rubell Museum DC will reinvigorate the 1906 building of the former Randall Junior High School, a historically Black public school in Southwest DC that ceased operations in 1978.
Caitlin Berry Appointed Director of Rubell Museum DC
The Rubell Museum announced that Caitlin Berry will be inaugural Director of its new museum located in Washington, DC. Berry will work closely with the Rubells and Director of the Rubell Museum in Miami, Juan Valadez, in bringing to life the vision for sharing their extensive collection of contemporary art.

Funding Arts Broward to Host Fifth Annual BLACK & WHITE: A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
Funding Arts Broward (FAB), a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and cultivating the arts in Broward County, has rescheduled its fifth annual “Black & White: A Night At The Museum” special event to Monday, April 25, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. This elegant black and white themed cocktail party at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale, open to the public, will feature an exclusive exhibit tour, live entertainment by Dillard High School Center for the Arts students, light bites and a decadent dessert table.
Times Square Arts to Unveil Immersive Installation Today
Times Square Arts, the largest public platform for contemporary performance and visual arts, is pleased to present THE POEM, an immersive public art installation by Cuban artist Raúl Cordero. The public unveiling will feature remarks from Raúl Cordero and a choral performance by Peace of Heart Choir to officially welcome the public to the installation. The unveiling will take place at 2pm EST today, April 8th, in Times Square’s Duffy Square.
