BIO
Originally from Joplin, Missouri, Kayleen Seidl attended St. Olaf College where she trained classically and earned a BM in Vocal Performance with Distinction as well as a BA in Spanish. Described as an actress with “natural charm,” Seidl was acknowledged for her “transformative vocal performance” as Sarah Brown in the Guys and Dolls National Tour.
Recently, Seidl added a new foreign language to her arsenal when she joined the original cast of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish directed by Joel Grey. Exceeding expectations, the show enjoyed a sold-out six-month run downtown before transferring Off-Broadway where it ran for almost a full year winning the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical Revival. The cast album can be heard on all major streaming services.
Other favorite credits include: Phantom (Christine Daée), It Shoulda Been You (Rebecca Steinberg), Show Boat (Magnolia), Oklahoma! (Laurey), TOMMY (Mrs. Walker).
In her free time, Kayleen enjoys rock-climbing, bike riding, being a dog mom, and sharing her joy of singing with her voice students.
