BIO
Kayla Zanakis(she/her) is a Domini-Greek multi-hyphenate actor based in New York City. Born and raised in Miami. BFA: NYU Tisch. Kayla has acted around the city and halfway around the world. Some of her favorite moments include singing at Radio City Music Hall and performing 6 different characters in "Richard III" at the Shanghai Theatre Institute Winter Festival. Recently, Maya Cruz in "No Mercy", at the Daryl Roth Theatre. Critics called her performance "Broadway-quality" and "phenomenal." Kayla always aims to tell stories that empower marginalized communities.

THE 24 HOUR PLAYS has announced this year's cohort for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, which will return this summer for their 13th year. A weeklong professional development initiative for early-career theater artists, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals 2024 will take place July 15-22, 2024 at the Pace University Lower Manhattan campus.

Cycle 9 of SERIALS performances will be at Soho Playhouse on August 17-19 and August 24-26 at 9:00 pm. This will be the first time a cycle of SERIALS will be performed outside of The Flea Theater, though it will return to The Flea for Cycle 10 in October.
