The MTH Theater at Crown Center is pleased to announce casting for Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece, Into The Woods. The fifteen person ensemble will be led by Broadway veteran Val Fagan (The Addams Family, Forbidden Broadway) in the role of the Witch. Artistic Director Sarah Crawford will direct the production and the remainder of the ensemble includes Chelcie Abercrombie, Samantha Barboza, Patrick Beasley, John Cleary, Cara Hampton, Robert Hingula, Lindsay James, Tom Lancaster, Korrie Murphy, Andrew Schmidt, Emily Vargo, Morgan Walker, and Kayla Wilkins. Jeremy Watson will co music direct alongside Crawford.

The MTH Theater at Crown Center is pleased to announce casting for the upcoming Musical Monday & Tuesday, June 26 and 27. June's program features tunes from the 7 musicals nominated for the 2017 "Best Musical" and "Best Revival of a Musical" Tony Award. Audiences can expect to hear songs from the grounbreaking scores of Dear Evan Hansen, Groundhog Day, Come From Away, The Great Comet, Hello, Dolly!, Falsettos, and Miss Saigon.

Jim Schubin of Plainsboro, NJ, and Brian Vu of Los Angeles, both earned top prizes in the 2016 Lotte Lenya Competition, sponsored by the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music and held on April 16, 2016 in Kilbourn Hall of the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY.

Fifteen young singer/actors have been named as finalists for the 2016 Lotte Lenya Competition. Selected from thirty-one semifinalists, this year's finalists represent a diverse range of performers, ages 21 to 31, from across the United States, Canada, Europe and Israel. All will sing repertoire from the operatic, golden age and contemporary musical stages, and of course, the music of Kurt Weill.
