The resident theater company of the Straz Center now turns their eyes to Lucy Kirkwood's Hedda, a gripping modern-day adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's Hedda Gabler, on stage in a North American professional premiere May 10 - Jun. 2, 2019.

Churchill likes to mix things up get rid of any preconceived notions about gender, sexuality, romance, or "lifestyle!" Cloud Nine mocks colonial and sexual repressions in a farce that employs racial and gender cross-casting to make its points.

Jobsite Theatre is excited to announce complete casting for Caryl Churchill's Cloud 9, closing our season this July! The show goes into rehearsal in June. Immediately next up is Martin McDonagh's A Skull in Connemara in March (casting already announced and going into rehearsal on Feb. 6) and then Israel Horovitz's Gloucester Blue (still in casting).

Jobsite Theater, resident theater company of the Straz Center, completes the pitch-black Irish comedy trilogy set in rural Ireland just in time for St. Patrick's Day this year with Martin McDonagh's A Skull in Connemara, which runs Mar. 17 - Apr. 9, 2017, in the Straz's Shimberg Playhouse.
