As the last two pandas on earth, Gwo Gwo and Marion intrinsically know their task is to repopulate their species, but when mating season rolls around, they encounter a small hitch: Chester the crocodile has got his eyes on Gwo Gwo, who-despite all his practicing-can't seem to get a hang of baby-panda creation and finds himself increasingly distracted by that sly and charming croc.
Iron Crow Theatre Premieres BAD PANDA, 10/13-27

They're the last two pandas on Earth. It's mating season. One of them falls in love with a crocodile, who is gay. And then the baby comes. In this sweet celebration of non-traditional families, Gwo Gwo the panda must balance his new found desire for Chester the crocodile with his obligations to his prescribed panda mate, Marion. The animals eat, mate, splash around in identity politics, meditate on their impending extinction, and love one another as only families can.
