NBC News and MSNBC to Have a Special Day of Programming to Honor International Women's Day
NBC News and MSNBC will have a special day of programming to honor International Women's Day, Friday, March 8. TODAY kicks off the day highlighting women who are breaking barriers in their fields and paving the way for the next generation such as Jody Singer, the first woman director of Marshall Space Flight Center and Jackie Munn, who served in Afghanistan as a Green Beret. Grammy award-winner Maren Morris will also perform live in concert on TODAY's Plaza as part of a special hour sponsored by Citi.
