BIO

Kati Schwartz is a playwright and actor. Her original play and #metoo story, Bad People, comes out on Audible this fall. Recent stage credits include: Tribes (Le Petit Theatre – Jeff Award nominee); The Wolves (Studio Theatre – Helen Hayes Award winner); August: Osage County (The Fulton Theatre); Robin Hood (Williamstown Theatre Festival); The Door (Shadowcatcher – directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch) and several new works with Waterwell Theatre Company, Ars Nova and Dixon Place. TV/Film includes “Deadliest Decade” (Discovery ID), “Dark Tales From Channel X”, and Dan Sallitt’s award winning feature “The Unspeakable Act.” Her original play, The Coward, won the New York New Works festival in 2017.

Paula Vogel's Tony Award-winning 2015 play, Indecent, will premiere at Putney, Vermont's Next Stage Arts on the heels of AAPI Heritage Month and kicking off Jewish Heritage Month. He learns that everyone is a suspect; everyone has a motive! The mystery unfolds with comical twists and turns until the unpredictable ending reveals all.
