Art Stars Shine at Reenvisioned Awards Gala
On Friday, April 28, in true Academy-award style, 200 community and cultural leaders came together to celebrate the 15th annual Art Star Awards. Held on the Festival of Arts grounds, this year's red-carpet reception and ceremony featured pop-up musical and dance performances as well as live art demonstrations, all complimented by champagne and h'oeuvres.
FOA Foundation Awards $100,500 in Art Grants for 2023
The FOA Foundation has announced the twenty-one organizations awarded $100,500 total in arts grants for the 2023 year. The FOA Foundation helps fund the many art-related non-profits in the Laguna Beach community, emphasizing those dedicated to education and the cultural enrichment of the local community through the arts.

Live Downtown on Saturday night, February 16, 2019. Winners in the Feature Motion Pictures categories include A Star is Born, Vice,Crazy Rich Asians and Mary Queen of Scots. Television winners included The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, American Horror Story: Apocalypse, Westworld and Dancing with the Stars. For the categories of Motion Picture Made for Television, winners include King Lear, Cocaine Godmother and Jesus Christ Superstar: Live and in Concert.

Festival of Arts Appoints Kathy Jones to Board of Directors
LAGUNA BEACH, CA - The Festival of Arts board of directors appointed Laguna Beach resident and Festival artist Kathy Jones to an open board seat. Jones is filling a position on the board that was left open by Tammie Arnold who resigned and moved to New York due to a job opportunity. Jones will be completing the remaining year of Arnold's term.
