Linchpin Theatre to Present Laura Wade's OTHER HANDS

Producer Kathryn Bartholomew and Director David Fehr, spirited members of the Chicago theatre community, open the doors, once again, to Chicago's newest home for authentic theatre going experiences, Linchpin Theatre. Linchpin's next production will be the Chicago Premiere of Other Hands by celebrated British playwright Laura Wade. Wade is no novice to Chicago as her play Breathing Corpses was mounted by Steep Theatre Company in 2008 and was hailed as a 'One of the Top Ten Shows of 2008!' by TIme Out. Other Hands premiered at Soho Theatre in February 2006 to enormous acclaim:

Linchpin Theatre to Present KING JOHN, 10/25-11/11

Producers and Co-Artistic Directors David Fehr and Kathryn Bartholomew, spirited members of the Chicago theatre community, open the doors to Chicago's newest home for authentic theatre going experiences, Linchpin Theatre. Linchpin's inaugural production will be the seldom performed play King John by William Shakespeare. Fehr and Bartholomew's brazenly-chosen adaptation of the history of the reign of King John of England brings to life the all-too familiar futility over the struggle for power, and the turmoil it leaves in its wake.
