POINT BREAK LIVE! Jaime Keeling's smash-hit parody of the 1991 Keanau Reeves/Patrick Swayze extreme action blockbuster movie Point Break, will be delivering the extreme 90s sports action, senseless action and unintentionally hilarious dialogue of the original film to NYC this summer for an open ended run at various locations throughout the city. The over-the-top, action-packed comedy in a punk-theater setting will see it's first two performances tonight, August 2nd at the Bell House in Brooklyn and August 10th at Webster Hall in Manhattan.

The winners of the 2009 Directors Guild of America Outstanding Directorial Achievement Awards and the recipients of the Guild's 2010 Career Achievement Awards were announced last night during the 62nd Annual DGA Awards Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Kathryn Bigelow won the DGA's Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for The Hurt Locker.
Following the welcome by DGA President Taylor Hackford to an audience of more than 1,600 guests, director/actor Carl Reiner hosted the ceremony.
