Stage Left Theatre has announced the cast for the upcoming production of IN THE BACK / ON THE FLOOR - a world premiere by playwright Ken Green and directed by Rachel Van. The new play examines the issues that minimum wage workers face through the lives of employees at a big-box retail store.

The Artistic Home Ensemble's first production of the 2019-20 Chicago Theatre Season will be the world premiere of VANYA ON THE PLAINS, a Chekhovian tragicomedy by Jason Hedrick, Director of the O'Neil Theatre and Instructor of Theatre and Speech at John A. Logan College in Carterville, IL.
Casting and Production Crew Announced for THE LIAR
Casting has been announced for The Liar, David Ives's "translaptation" of Pierre Corneille's 1643 farce of the same name, according to Ed Rutherford, the Promethean Theatre Ensemble artistic associate who is directing the production. The title character, Dorante, a charming young man who cannot tell the truth, will be played by Josh Hambrock. Dorante's love interest Clarice (who he believes to be named Lucrece, the name of her friend who will be played by Katherine Schwartz) will be played by ensemble member Meghann Tabor.
