BIO

Katherine Rosin has been working in the entertainment industry since 1995. As a publicist and marketing expert, she has skillfully implemented various campaigns in film, theatre, and dance. Having a boutique firm, Rosin offers each project individualized campaign development, media relations, creation of material, and one-on-one attention that is so often lacking with larger firms. Her combined experience in public relations, marketing, advertising, and social media, allow her to offer her clients exceptional, one-of-a-kind promotions, which are imperative when conveying the uniqueness of a product.

Rosin was instrumental in the launch of the Broadway musical Brooklyn and the National Tour of Mother Load. She has represented IT Award recipients, GLAAD Award Winners and Drama Desk nominees. Clients include: 3Graces Theatre Co., ArtsRock, Astoria Performing Arts Center, thecell, The Hive Theatre Company, Maieutic Theatre Awards, New Perspectives Theatre Company, New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, Nicu's Spoon, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, Queens Theatre in the Park, Railroad Playhouse, Red Fern Theatre Company, and White Plains Performing Arts Center.

Rosin’s background includes work as production office staff on feature films such as Wishful Thinking"(Miramax) with Drew Barymore, On the Run (Independent) and Money Kings (Lions Gate). Following that, she spent two years as Coordinator of Production at Lions Gate Films, working on such projects as American Psycho with Christain Bale and Prisoner of Love with Naomi Campbell. After leaving Lions Gate Films, she freelanced as a production executive at Killer Films, on projects such as One Hour Photo, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and The Grey Zone. She worked in publicity at Miramax Films on Gangs of New York and Amelie, switching to International Marketing, and finally Dimension Film’s publicity, on films such as Spy Kids II, Undisputed, and Halloween: Resurrection. While at Dimension Films, she also worked on the publicity team for the comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, and his movie Comedian. Rosin worked on the film, Nursery University, which had the highest per-screen average in the country.

Playwright Alex Goldberg's Film CLOSURE To Premiere At DCIFF

5100 Films, 103rd Street Productions, Kampfire Films, Red Spear Productions and Writer/Director Alex Goldberg (Off Broadway's It Is Done) are pleased to announce the World Premiere of Goldberg's CLOSURE at the D.C. Independent Film Festival. The festival, which takes place February 14 -19, 2018, was founded in 1999 to nurture independent film. CLOSURE will World Premiere at 7:45pm on Saturday Feb 17th.
