3 PADEREWSKIS to Premiere At The Kennedy Center
Following performances in Los Angeles, California and Poznań, Poland, Jenni Brandon and Oliver Mayer's '3 Paderewskis' will have its official world premiere on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Terrace Theater.
Pacific Opera Project Presents Large-Scale Outdoor Production Of Bizet's CARMEN At The Ford Theatres
On September 1, 2018 at 8pm, Pacific Opera Project (POP) returns to the newly renovated Ford Theatres for a thrilling fully-staged outdoor production of Bizet's Carmen. Following the tremendous success of Abduction from the Seraglio at the Ford in 2016, POP will put on a one-night-only production for its largest audience yet: 1200 seats. Directed and designed by Artistic Director Josh Shaw, Carmen will be conducted by Music Director Michael Powers, choreographed by Amy Lawrence, and costumed by Maggie Green.
California School of the Arts Celebrates Opening in San Gabriel Valley
Joy spread across a crowd of students, parents and community leaders Friday, Sept. 1, when California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley (CSArts-SGV) celebrated its opening with an arts-filled Ribbon Cutting and Open House. The afternoon showcased the high-caliber arts instruction of conservatory directors and the blossoming talents of CSArts-SGV student artists with three solo performances and eight conservatory classes open for observation.
