BIO

She is currently pursuing her BFA in drama at New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a double minor in Journalism and BEMT (Business, Entertainment, Media, Technology) studies.

Born and raised in small-town Maine, Katherine’s start in the arts began when her parents decided to put her rambunctious energy to use in tap class. Even now, seventeen years later, Katherine hasn’t stopped shuffling along since. Although Katherine began her career in the dance world, competing in dance competitions throughout her childhood, she made her regional premier as “Molly” in Maine State Music Theater’s 2011 production of Annie.

Katherine is represented by Nouveaux NY Talent Management, Clutch32, and Exxcel Model and Talent Group. Some of Katherine’s most recent highlights include: Broadway World’s Best Actress in a Musical Nominee (2019) for her role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Community, Maine), New York City Dance Alliance Platinum Soloist (2019), Best of Jump 2021: Best Mini Choreography for her Musical Theatre piece “Second Hand Rose”, Williams Award 2020 and Arnold: Excellence in Music Scholarship (2020).

You can find Katherine on stage and screen across many short films, plays, and musical productions, but her favorite role will always rank as the big sister and role model to her two younger brothers and dance students at Kennebec Dance Center.

BWW Review: MSMT's WELCOME HOME Embraces a Rich Tapestry of Musical Theatre

In many ways MSMT’s concert, WELCOME HOME, is a valentine to the world of musical theatre and to those who create it and who love and support it. This original, complexly conceived, all-singing, all-dancing musical revue starring MSMT’s Fellowship Performers is packed with so much talent, energy and emotion that it will – quite simply - blow you away! Directed by Curt Dale Clark, this collection of musical theatre standards and contemporary works is skillfully woven together to capture a kaleidoscope of shifting moods, styles, and ensemble as well as solo moments. Not only has Clark constructed a powerful and poignant narrative, but he has cast each number with a fresh eye that gives vitality to the whole. His ability to nurture, challenge, and stretch the talent with which he works transforms the performance from a routine revue to a dazzling master class.
BWW Review: The Magic of OZ; The Miracle of MSMT

To stage the beloved cultural icon that is THE WIZARD OF OZ offers any theatre company a herculean challenge: one which requires stretching the imagination to the limits to create a universe where reality is redefined and fantasy is fulfilled. In short, it demands stunning stagecraft and brilliant artistic vision. And it is just that kind of theatrical magic which Maine State Music Theatre's new production co- directed by Marc Robin and Curt Dale Clark boldly and beautifully realizes.
