BIO

Karmine Alers spent a considerable amount of time in New York City performing on Broadway.


She was cast as MIMI in the production of “RENT”, in "Aida" as Aida, in Lin- Manuel Miranda musical "In The Heights", as Pattie in “Smokey Joe's Cafe” and most recently as Gloria Fajardo in “ON YOUR FEET” the story of Gloria and Emilio Estefan.
She has performed in several Television productions, her last performance as a guest star in the CBS series “BULL” and has been a lead actress in feature films available on Amazon Prime Video. 
Karmine is also a popular recording artist , signing her first recording contract with A&M records with the popular girl group, 3rd Party.  Karmine also released a solo album with original music entitled "For You" , which can be found on Amazon and Apple Music.  For the Holiday season, you can hear Karmine's very popular Christmas recording titled “A Winters Wish” which is also found on Amazon and Apple Music.

In Washington Heights, Usnavi (Ángel Lozada) sings to us about life in the neighborhood while carrying out his day-to-day activities involved in operating his bodega (“In the Heights”). There’s Sonny (Nicolas Garza), the young aspiring entrepreneur who helps Usnavi run things; Abuela Claudia (Rayanne Gonzales), Usnavi’s elderly neighbor who’s “not really [his] abuela;” and Vanessa (Adriana Scalice), a woman Usnavi is too shy to talk to, but who is trying to move out of Washington Heights as soon as possible.
