The Rollin' Sands Band Featured Next In Tiffin Bay Folk Club's Intimate Spaces Concert
On Thursday November 28th, The Tiffin Bay Folk Club's Intimate Spaces Concert Series is pleased to welcome back local music sensation Nonie Thompson to their stage in the Midland Cultural Cenre. While on her own she is a veritable one-woman show, for this concert she'll be letting loose with a full band 'The Rollin' Sands Band' featuring Eugene Rea (vocals, guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo, bouzouki, whistles), Karen Reed (fiddle), Gary Kreller (accordion, piano), Ken Brown (double bass) and Michelle Josef (drums).

Theatricum Botanicum Presents Romantic Shakespeare this Summer
It's the battle of the sexes this summer when Theatricum Botanicum pairs two of the Bard's most foolishly romantic plays. Kicking off Theatricum's six-play repertory season during the first weekend of June, artistic director Ellen Geer directs The Merry Wives of Windsor, opening on Saturday, June 4 at 8 pm.
Botanicum Seedlings Series For Playwrights Hosts Public Readings 6/7, 6/14, 6/21
Through its ongoing development series for playwrights, 'Botanicum Seedlings,' The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum presents public readings of new works on June 7, 14 and 21. The plays presented are Robin Rice Lichtig's The Power of Birds on June 7, How to Shoot a Bull Moose by Jonathan A. Goldberg on June 14, and Michael David's Awake on June 21. The playreadings take place Sundays at 11 am, and admission is free.
