At Saturday night's 14th Annual Midsummer Night Drinks more than 400 friends and supporters gathered at the stunning Southampton home of Kelly Behun and Jay Sugarman for a wonderful evening of fun, food and cocktails, all benefiting God's Love We Deliver. This signature event supports one of New York City's most beloved charities, the only organization of its kind that cooks and home delivers nutritious meals to clients living with severe illnesses, their children and senior caregivers. Joan Rivers Delivers 15 Millionth Meal For GOD'S LOVE WE DELIVER
God's Love We Deliver marked a significant milestone in its history when the organization cooked and delivered its 15 millionth meal on Friday, May 2. God's Love was joined by many friends - old and new - including comedian, actress, talk show host, businesswoman and God's Love Board member Joan Rivers who helped lid and "kachunga" the 15 millionth meal. The milestone coincides with the 29th anniversary of when God's Love We Deliver's Founder, Ganga Stone, delivered a meal to Richard, a man living with AIDS, and the organization was born.

On Wednesday, April 9, more than 270 friends of God's Love We Deliver gathered at the 11th Annual Authors In Kind. This literary luncheon, held at the Metropolitan Club, was emceed by Board Member, author extraordinaire and Authors In Kind founder, Linda Fairstein. Linda introduced each guest author, who then took the podium to share anecdotes and remarks about their work to the delight of our many guests. God's Love Delivers Meals and Holiday Cheer Today
More than 900 generous volunteers joined God's Love We Deliver staff, celebrities, local politicians and board members in preparing and delivering more than 3,200 meals for people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life altering illnesses in New York City, and nearby Hudson County, New Jersey. Of our 3,200 meals, 1,000 were guest meals, so that each client could invite a friend or family member to spend the holiday with them. Our meals today were delivered in a cheerful, hand-decorated bag designed by local school children.
God's Love We Deliver Celebrates Thanksgiving Cheer In Brooklyn with Joan Rivers
More than 900 generous volunteers joined God's Love We Deliver staff, celebrities, local politicians and Board members in their new temporary location in Brooklyn in preparing and delivering more than 3,200 Thanksgiving meals for people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life altering illnesses in New York City, and nearby Hudson County, New Jersey. Of the more than 3,200 meals, nearly 900 were guest meals, so that each client could invite a friend or family member to spend the holiday with them. Our holiday meals were delivered in a cheerful, hand-decorated bag designed by local school children. Each household also received a holiday gift basket, containing crackers, oatmeal, nuts, raisins and other treats to help make the day special.
GLWD Delivers 'Sandy Bags' and More to New Yorkers in Need
Despite having no power at agency headquarters in SoHo in the days following Hurricane Sandy, God's Love We Deliver worked tirelessly to ensure that as many people affected by the storm as possible had access to nutritious food. Staff and volunteers walked and biked across bridges and across town to reach the agency's darkened building and put together emergency food kits, dubbed "Sandy bags" for their clients. The phones at God's Love were down, but dedicated volunteers came knocking, offering to help. Despite the storm, God's Love was able to deliver 8,000 meals and 2,300 "Sandy Bags" to all five boroughs this past week.
