The stunning World Premiere of Douglas Martin's Pride and Prejudice by the American Repertory Ballet (ARB) was performed at Princeton's McCarter Theater on Friday, April 21st and Saturday, April 22nd. Martin, the company's Artistic Director, has created a fabulous production that brings Jane Austen's beloved 1813 classic novel to the stage.

On Today, July 31, 2015, students from the Summer Intensive program at Princeton Ballet School, the official school of NJ's top professional ballet company American Repertory Ballet, will be dancing in the program's culminating performance. American Repertory Ballet Welcomes New Dancers

American Repertory Ballet Artistic Director Douglas Martin is please to announce its 2013-2014 Company Dancers, including the addition of Company Dancer Nanako Yamamoto and the promotion of dancers Andrea D'Annunzio and Mattia Pallozzi from Trainee to full Company Dancer. Yamamoto, D'Annunzio, and Pallozzi will join returning dancers: Cameron Auble-Branigan, Euphrosyne Avery, Stephen Campanella, Alice Cao, Alexander Dutko, Shaye Firer, Monica Giragosian, Samantha Gullace, Joshua Kurtzberg, Karen Leslie Moscato, Marc St-Pierre, Edward Urwin, and Claire van Bever. The 2013-2014 Season will be Auble-Branigan's and Firer's second season with ARB. It will be the third season for Avery, Cao, Giragosian, and van Bever. Campanella, Gullace, Moscato, St-Pierre, and Urwin are entering their fourth season, Dutko his fifth, and Kurtzberg is entering his sixth season with ARB.

American Repertory Ballet will present its first 'Emerging Artist Showcase' with performances at 8:00 PM tonight, October 26th, and Saturday, October 27th at Princeton Ballet School's Studio A, 301 North Harrison Street in the Princeton Shopping Center, above McCaffrey's Supermarket. The performances will feature choreography created and performed by the dancers of American Repertory Ballet and the ARB/Princeton Ballet School Trainee Program. While no one will be turned away at the door, a suggested donation of $10 will go directly to the artists.

Bach Festival Society Announces 18th Annual Young Artist Competition Winners

The Bach Festival Society congratulates the winners of the 18th Annual Young Artist Competition, held on Saturday, November 20. Over 50 entrants from around the state competed, with twelve prize-winning contestants advancing to the finalist round. The finalist recital was open to the public and was enjoyed by over 150 guests. The top three winners are listed below along with the piece each performed for the final round of judging. 'This year's competition drew strong competitors from throughout the state. We are very proud of all the talented musicians who competed,' said Artistic Director and Conductor John. V. Sinclair.
